Memphis, Tennessee

I can't count the number of times I've been to Memphis, but on this trip, we steered clear of all our usual haunts and checked a bunch of boxes off of our Memphis Bucket List — a Grizzlies game, ribs at Rendezvous, a walk in the the South Main Arts District, a visit to Graceland, and meals, drinks, and shopping in the Cooper Young and Midtown neighborhoods all made the list. 

Grizzlies game at FedEx Forum: ✔

Walk (and brunch, below) along the South Main Arts District: ✔

Cafe Pontotoc at 314 S. Main St. 

RIP Elvis Presley. Graceland: ✔

Midtown Memphis: ✔ (We ate at Aldo's and drank at Memphis Made Brewing Co.)

Brunch at The Beauty Shop. TO DIE FOR.

Adorable Cooper Young district. Ate at Beauty Shop (above) and drank gin cocktails at Alchemy. 

Great used book store in Cooper Young: Burke's Book Store.
